Workflow management and productivity platform Hive has a useful Notes feature, making it easier for businesses to create meeting notes, assign follow-up procedures, as well as track the project progress.
To create your first note, simply click on the “Notes” tab located on the bottom right-hand side of the desktop Hive application. After pressing the “New note” button, you will be taken to a window where you can insert a title for the new note. After creating a title, you can then add text to the body.
What’s great about this body section is that Hive users can also customize the font colour, highlight their notes, as well as bold, italicize, or underline text. Bullet points and paragraph indentations are also made easily available within the Hive Notes feature.
After saving the note, it can be shared with other users on a Hive team as well, allowing for further collaboration efforts. A business that is able to have its employees communicate well with each other through the use of these notes, as they allow everyone to be on the same page and have the same information readily available to them.
If you have multiple projects, then your notes can also be grouped according to their relative project, too. Click on the top of a note and simply select the chosen project. Navigate and access notes within different project folders by clicking on the “Projects” button.
In addition to this Notes feature, Hive hopes to implement Notebooks one soon. Notebooks would allow users to compile their notes into a neat notebook format. For businesses that conduct regular and weekly meetings, this can be a nifty tool to consider using in the near future.
Hive is a good place to start for individuals who wish to better organize their team projects. This is especially useful when it comes to managing the workflow of a business, as well as ensuring that deadlines are met.
