Business 101: How to Succeed Using Redbubble

If you’re an entrepreneur who thrives via your creativity, whether it be in graphic design or art skills, then Redbubble may be a great platform to integrate into your business strategy. It allows entrepreneurs to upload their artwork and designs, select the types of products they wish to create, and offers payment in return after customers buy such items. There are a variety of ways to succeed while using Redbubble, and this post will touch upon a few of them to help you get started.

One sure-fire way to make your design stand out on Redbubble is to make sure the uploaded file is of high quality. The platform has different dimensions and resolutions that should be met in order to ensure the quality of the artwork on a variety of products. For instance, if you would like a certain print to be on a t-shirt, then it should look clear and not pixelated when it gets printed and sent to the shopper.

Don’t forget that different items vary in terms of dimensions, too. These include, for example, leggings and clocks. The Redbubble website provides artists with a downloadable template for leggings, allowing them to create and edit their designs in a way that fits within the correct zones. According to the instructions, the areas within the grey portion of the template are considered to be safe zones for designs. The same applies for clocks as well, since there is a template that could be used to help artists customize the frames and hands of a clock in a more effective manner.

Before uploading a design and selecting the types of products for it to be put on, don’t forget to consider the platform’s transparency feature. This allows designs to be transparent in their backgrounds, meaning that the fabric colour of t-shirts, for instance, can appear through the design for aesthetic purposes. Redbubble recommends uploading images in PNG in order to take advantage of this particular feature.

In terms of promoting your own work, there are several ways to go about it. For one, you can share your latest designs with followers on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, and even Instagram. Don’t forget to leverage the use of different tags in order to help maximize the amount of reach and page traffic. Embedding the link to your Redbubble page can also be a step in the right direction when it comes to promoting it through your own website.

Of course, don’t ignore the power of a good description. Potential customers may wish to learn more about your artwork before they decide to purchase a product that features it. By using effective storytelling strategies, you can more easily sell your product to others. Carefully consider the title of your work and your item descriptions in order to make the most out of them.

Redbubble can be a challenge to navigate at first, however, with the support of a professional team of marketers, you will be on your way to success. To speak with an expert at Find Your Audience, contact either 647-479-0688 or hi@findyouraudience.online.
